Senior IT Manager

Description

Position Summary The IT Manager will be responsible for leading and structuring the IT function in Brazil, ensuring operational stability while driving a broader transformation agenda. Key Responsibilities 1. IT Operations & Structuring • Lead and stabilize daily IT operations across infrastructure, applications, networks, service desk, and cybersecurity. • Establish and improve governance, processes, and service management practices (incident, problem, change). • Define priorities, organize demand, and bring clarity to a still-evolving IT environment. • Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring delivery quality and accountability. • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness. 2. Leadership & Team Development • Lead, structure, and develop a multidisciplinary IT team (internal + external partners). • Define roles, responsibilities, and ways of working to increase team efficiency and accountability. • Balance operational demands with transformation initiatives. • Actively coach and elevate team maturity and performance. 3. Transformation & Project Execution • Lead and execute key technology initiatives, ensuring delivery with speed and quality. • Drive improvements in systems, integrations, data, and digital capabilities. • Identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement changes in a pragmatic and hands-on way. • Bring structure to ongoing initiatives and ensure alignment with business priorities. 4. Business & Stakeholder Management • Act as the main IT point of contact for business leaders in Brazil. • Translate business needs into clear IT priorities and execution plans. • Communicate effectively with local and regional stakeholders in a matrix environment. • Strengthen IT positioning as a business enabler, not just a support function. 5. Governance, Risk & Compliance • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity, compliance, and corporate policies. • Structure controls, risk management practices, and audit readiness. • Promote disciplined and scalable IT practices. Profile & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields. • +12 years of experience in IT, with a solid track record in leadership roles. • Previous experience in multinational environments and matrix organizations. • Strong experience managing end-to-end IT operations (infrastructure, systems, vendors). • Proven track record in transformation or structuring environments (not only steady-state operations). • Experience with ERP/CRM ecosystems (e.g., TOTVS/Datasul, Salesforce) and system integrations. • Familiarity with ITIL and service management practices. • Solid understanding of cybersecurity and risk management. • Fluent English is mandatory; Spanish is a plus. Leadership & Behavioral Expectations • Hands-on leadership style, especially in less structured environments. • Ability to prioritize, make decisions quickly, and execute with limited structure. • Strong sense of ownership and accountability. • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change. • High energy and resilience to operate in a transformation context. Success Indicators • Increased stability and reliability of IT operations. • Clear prioritization and improved execution of initiatives. • Evolution of governance, processes, and team maturity. • Stronger alignment between IT and business needs. • Delivery of tangible improvements in systems and operations.
